If you use Salesforce in any capacity, a little training can go a long way. Trailhead was created for everyone from beginner using Salesforce to do their job all the way up to experienced developers looking to gain new skills, learn about new features, and become real superheroes. But if you tried out Trailhead before last month, you may have noticed a few missing features that made it a bit difficult to navigate and work with. Like with everything in the Salesforce world, the Trailhead team was on it, and released a new user interface in November that really bring it to a new level!
If you check out Trailhead now, the first thing you’ll notice is the lovely new look. It was always very modern-looking, but the new interface is downright beautiful and intuitive. Sharing your badges on LinkedIn is integrated now, for all you social media junkies. New tools to find courses that are relevant to you will keep you on the trail without having to dig for that next awesome lesson. Courses are now available in more languages (rejoice all ye French speakers I know). Check out the new Trailhead today, take a course or two, and let us know what you think!

Salesforce is an incredibly powerful tool, and with great power comes a great learning curve. If you want to learn how to better leverage Salesforce, you’re in for some long nights of studying difficult technical documents, hours searching for relevant videos, and expensive classes that will take you away from your desk. We’re here to help, as are loads of other amazing bloggers and Salesforce community members, but we tend to skip the basics and get down to what excites us. If you need to learn as much as possible as fast as possible in a hands-on, structured way, you need to check out Trailhead.
You may have already heard of Trailhead, but let me know tell you what it is and just how cool it is. Created by Salesforce, Trailhead is a self-paced learning experience designed to help anyone get off the ground and start customizing and developing on the platform. Lessons are easy to follow, quizzes test your knowledge, and Trailhead even integrates with your Salesforce Developer Edition and checks your work after you complete a hands-on tutorial. You earn badges as you complete challenges which you can show off on Twitter and LinkedIn and celebrate your new milestone. Check out this great write-up on Trailhead and take the first step in your Salesforce adventure today!
