Making little tweaks to your Salesforce Org. can add up to big enhancements. This week’s app gives users 5 handy new lightning navigation buttons to refresh their org, and extend functionality. Because it is built with the standard Salesforce Lightning Component Library, this app will scale with new releases! A final feature of note is that this app allows dynamic visibility for buttons via the Lightning App Builder versus using Record Types, which means you can run a button report based on field values on a record.
5 Lightning Components which display a button for users to interact with. Easily drag-and-drop these buttons onto any page to navigate to records, URLs, Chatter Groups, and List Views, and create records with specific record types.

One of the biggest values within the Salesforce CRM to date has been the data analysis and reporting tools. Companies with large volumes of high-quality data in their Salesforce CRM have been reaping the benefits for years, as the various reports have let them drill down into some extremely granular, but important details of their business.
The addition of the new Lightning UI has yielded a bevy of new visual upgrades to the reports, so now all that powerful data is super easy on the eyes, and allows companies to get that impactful, visual understanding of what is going on.
If all of that wasn’t enough, last month Salesforce announced that they will be purchasing Tableau for $15.7B. Tableau is one of the leading data analytics and visualization platforms on the market, and such a large purchase is sure to yield significant results to the Salesforce platform.

Speculation is high on just exactly how Salesforce and Tableau will work together, especially considering that Salesforce already has its Einstein AI and Analytics platform up and running.
The takeover is sure to be slow, as the two large companies find a way to mesh, and the technologies slowly integrate.
However, down the road, we are sure to see all of that Tableau technology popping up here and there in Salesforce. And those already awesome looking Lightning Reports? Who knows, but there’s a decent chance we will start seeing even more improvements and upgrades.

As part of the Summer ‘19 Release of Salesforce, a standard option has been built into the system to help encourage user adoption and let your team celebrate a little bit.
You can now set up the system to shower the user with onscreen confetti and celebrate the little things. This functionality can be built around a wide variety of objects, status changes, and fields.
To set up confetti on your system, start by opening up the setup menu and typing Path Settings into the quick find box. Once you are there, edit the path settings.
Step 1: On the first screen you can define the name of the path functionality, which object you want it to run off of, and the record type and picklist

Step 2: Next you select the fields you want to appear, and can also add specific comments, directions or descriptions.

Step 3: Finally, use the slider to enable option A, and get the confetti party started.
